First-time voters Gerrard Wofford (18) and Jarquez Bolden (20) had disparate experiences when they voted. Gerrard, who went to the polls with his father, experienced no difficulties, and enjoyed the experience. Jarquez, however, had problems over his registration, and ultimately voted using a provisional ballot. Though the poll worker was very pleasant, he experienced frustration over not knowing if his vote would actually count. In spite of the difficulties Jarquez had, both young men insist they will always vote from this point forward.
